Spring Term -

Exeter City Community Trust team aim to provide children with an opportunity to extend their after-school physical activities through a range of fun and interactive sessions.

The after-school programme provides children with an opportunity to take part in multisport and football sessions to help them develop their core life skills - for example social, communication and physical skills - by using the latest coaching methods supported by the FA and Sport England.

Sessions will include fundamental movement work, skill sessions, small-sided games and various competitions with the emphasis on having fun in a professional, safe and structured environment.

Please can I take this opportunity to thank Ben and the coaches for their work with Wilcombe this year. They have been absolutely fantastic; professional, confident, part of the team and fun. More importantly, the children and staff have acquired new skills and thoroughly enjoyed working with you. A massive thank you.

I just wanted to write and express my thanks and appreciation to the coach who has led the after school club at St Michael's Primary School on Thursdays this summer term.

Due to work committments, I am unable to collect my son each week, so don't have any contact with the ECFC Staff, hence this email. I wanted to request that you thank the Coach that runs this club for his committment to and delivery of the after school football club.

My son,  aged 6, has attended and has really enjoyed the sessions. It has been his first opportunity to try football and in addition to developing some basic skills, it has really boosted his confidence. He was delighted to recieve his certificate and 'Top Trainer Award' trophy at half term which has been proudly displayed and talked about ever since! As parents, we were not expecting his behaviour and attitude to be noted, but this acknowledgement was really helpful to him and us.

I trust you will pass this feedback to the relevant Coach and thank him for running such a good club for six and seven year olds - an age group which often gets over-looked in sports provision.

James is already looking forward to returning next year!

With my thanks and best wishes
