Fun at school - even in the holidays!

Posted on September 2nd 2014 by

We've had a great time this summer with all our holiday courses, but we have also done something a bit different. Working in partnership with four schools - Teignmouth, St Luke's, St James and Isca - we have run four week-long multisport camps, aimed at easing the transition from primary to secondary for some pupils.

Led by our coaches Danny Leverton and Jack Gill, we have had excellent feedback across the board on these events from everyone involved and we are delighted to have been involved with the schools and their pupils this summer. We're certainly looking forward to next summer and developing these projects further.

As well as some literacy and numeracy, children have been getting involved in all different types of sports activities - Danish Longball was a particular hit in all the schools - as well as learning about subjects such as nutrition under the guise of making their own pizzas! If you'd like more information on how we can work with your school, whether in curriculum, after-school, or holiday time, then please do get in touch.
