Develop your playing talent while learning

Posted on November 7th 2014 by

Our respected Exeter City Football and Education Development course at Teignmouth Community School is now looking for talented players to join the course in September 2015.

This established programme combines playing in the Premier League/Football League Under 19 Development League with a Level Three education plan (BTEC or A Levels)  and coaching is provided by Exeter City coaches and former players.

The course aims to provide players with the opportunity to play against other professional football clubs while at the same time arming students with the educational skills to gain a place in university or employment in the sports and leisure industry.

The first open training session will be held at the school on Monday 17 November at 5pm and is open to all current Year 11 students, as well as Year 12s who might be keen on a change of course. Prospective students should bring full training gear, including shinpads, football boots and indoor trainers, as well as a drink and a snack.

For more information, email the programme manager Dean Coppard on dean.coppard@exetercityfc.co.uk or telephone 01626 774091.
