With the school holidays being much in focus, today’s programme highlights some of the opportunities to help keep you and your family busy this summer.

Pop Up Games In The Park

#ThisCITYcan

No plans for the school holidays? Why not come along to our Pop Up Games sessions running throughout the month of August in collaboration with Active Devon.

Archery, football, cricket, badminton and much more on offer to keep your kids active during the summer at this FREE event.

It’s the perfect way to socialise and meet new people as well as participating in sporting activity.

The sessions run from 10:30 to 11:30am. After the hour of sport, feel free to bring a blanket and food for a family picnic.

Peter Ferlie, organiser of Pop Up Games, says it’s not just targeted at the children:

''Pop up games are aimed at families to get down to their local park to have some fun, throwing, catching or kicking a ball. It’s great to see all the family active.''

Our final two sessions will take place at Exwick Play area on the 25th August and Merrivale Park on the 29th. There is no need to book just pop along and join in the fun. For further information contact Pete.Ferlie@ecfc.co.uk or visit the Active Exeter Facebook page.
