CITY Community Trust Futsal players selected to represent South West in national EFL competition at St Georges Park.

Congratulations to Henry Juma, Callum Owens and Reece Saunders who were chosen to represent the South West in EFL’s (English Football League) National All Stars competition on 29th March 2018.

Last week the trio, playing in a squad of ten, competed against three other regions across the country at the iconic St Georges Park, England’s world class training facility.

The youngsters from CITY Community Trusts BTEC Futsal academy, who were also apart of Exeter’s triumph in the national final last year beating Peterborough 1-0 in the final, showed how successful CITY Community Trusts’ Futsal programme has become with yet another success story.

Chris Shephard, manager of the South West representative squad and CITY Community Trusts Futsal Co-ordinator, says: "It is a fantastic achievement for Reece, Callum and Henry to have been selected for the South West Representative Futsal team. To have 3 out of the 10 players in the Representative squad come from our Exeter City side makes me feel very proud of the work that we are doing here.”
