CCT welcome charity partners to match at St James Park

Posted on October 3rd 2018 by

We were delighted to welcome our charity partners Age UK Exeter, Children’s Hospice South West, Force Cancer and Julian House to Exeter City’s win over Stevenage at St James Park on Tuesday, October 2.

It was a fantastic evening both on and off the pitch with opportunities for everyone to discuss the best way we can complement each other throughout the partnership as we continue to work together to benefit a whole host of people.

We’re already supported by Age UK Exeter for this year’s Halloween fun run which takes place on Thursday, October 25 at Cowick Barton playing fields, of which you can sign up for now!

We are looking forward to continuing this partnership, which runs until 2020, and it’s safe to say that it was a productive evening as we set about planning future initiatives over the next couple of years.

We are also pleased to announce the donation of a handful of television sets to Julian House from CCT which have now become available to us following the redevelopment of St James Park.

Julian House are also in the process of organising the Big Exeter Sleepout which will take place on Friday, November 23 and will see lots of people sleep out on the Big Bank at St James Park in order to raise awareness and funds for various homeless projects.

Now, if you’re considering taking part in our Santa Run, which is a great family event designed to get you in the festive spirit, or even the Exeter marathon and you’re looking for a charity to run for then why not choose one of our four partners. All money raised will go to fantastic causes and could make a real difference to people’s lives.
