Exeter CITY Community Trust’s ‘All Call Signs- Brew or Wets’ tea and toast sessions launched this week and has received a positive response.

The sessions, held at St James Park at 10am every Tuesday, give former service veterans a warm welcome, refreshments and a chance to catch up with fellow service personnel and City Community Trust staff.

The project saw a strong number of people show up for its first session, and CITY Community Trust's health and wellbeing officer, Peter Ferlie, was delighted with the turnout but is keen for more people to come along.

He said: “Considering it was our first session, we were delighted with how many people managed came along to the event.

“There were lots of smiley faces and laughter and it is a positive start to the programme. We want as many people as possible to come along and we look forward to seeing increased numbers of the next few weeks.”

If you are someone, or know of an individual, who may benefit from the programme then why not come along, or for more information please contact
