Job Description: Development Team Manager - Voluntary
We are looking for a highly motivated person who has the passion, desire and knowledge to manage our Women’s Development Team, who play in Devon Women’s Football League, Division One. This person would need to deliver high quality coaching sessions, within Exeter City Women, to our Development Team, who train once a week, on Thursday evenings, and play competitive fixtures on Sunday afternoons. As manager of the team, attendance at home and away fixtures is paramount.
The position would start from January 2020.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· as manager, attend home and away fixtures
· deliver high quality and progressive coaching sessions to women aged 16+
· establish and carry out relevant administration with regard to player registration, fixtures and all other responsibilities
· have ability and willingness to work flexible hours, which will include evenings and weekends
· be well presented and wear Exeter City training kit at all times when working
· form a close relationship to the First Team management team and report progress of individual players on a weekly basis.
· minimum Level 2 in Coaching Football Certificate and above
· previous experience of coaching and working with a team
· previous experience working with the FA Whole Game System
· ability to recognise opportunities to promote players within the ranks
· excellent communication and interaction skills both orally and in practical demonstration
· an interest in football coaching and player development
· up-to-date safeguarding certificate and first aid qualifications
· current DBS certificate
· competent administration skills
· minibus driving license
· own transport essential.
Location of training: Cliff Hill Training Ground, Clyst St Mary, Exeter EX5 1DP.
Home Matches: King George VI playing fields, Topsham Road, Exeter (Countess Wear Roundabout end).
Away Matches: Across Devon & Exeter

Job Role:Community Sports Assistant
Exeter City Community Trust is looking for someone to work on average a minimum of 8 hours a week. Shifts available are Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings. With the option of working additional hours throughout the week on a casual basis. (Evening work varies from 5-10pm)
The role would suit someone with previous experience working as either a porter, caretaker or within a sporting facility environment.
Brief Description: Exeter City Community Trust are looking for a helpful, friendly and flexible Community Sports Assistant to join our team across multiple sites, currently, Exwick Sports Hub & Exeter Sports Hall.
You will work closely with other members of the team and management to ensure equipment and facilities are ready and fully prepared for both internal and external lettings. Securing and alarming the facilities will be the main priorities. Excellent customer services are essential as well as the ability to work independently and take responsibility as you will be the main point of contact for users whilst on site.
Rate of Pay: £9.42
