Premier League Girls Football

Exeter's City Community Trust is proud to be a part of the Premier League Girls Football Programme delivered in partnership with The Football Association, which aims to provide opportunities for females to aged 11 and over to take part in football in a community setting.

Our programme has two main objectives:

  • To increase the number of women and girls playing football on a regular basis.
  • To increase opportunities for women and girls to develop skills and confidence, while progressing at their own pace and making new friends.

We offer a range of opportunities for girls to be involved in football from girl's only holiday courses, after school clubs and regualr weekly sessions, including Exeter and Taunton Grecian Girls.

For participants who wish to progress in the game, we aim to create a player pathway with local community clubs to provide longer term participation. Our current programme includes partnerships with King's Schools TauntonUniversity of Exeter Ladies Club, Exeter City Ladies and Feniton Ladies, providing a range of opportunities for female players to become a part of the football community.
