Premier League Girls Football
Exeter City Community Trust is proud to be a part of the Premier League Girls Football Programme delivered in partnership with The Football Association, which aims to provide opportunities for females aged 11 and over to take part in football in a community and school based setting.
The programme has two main objectives:
To increase the number of women and girls playing football on a regular basis.
To increase opportunities for women and girls to develop skills and confidence, while progressing at their own pace and making new friends.
We offer a range of opportunities for girls to be involved in football from girl's only holiday courses, after school clubs and regualr weekly sessions, including our SSE Wildcats Centres. For participants who wish to progress in the game, we aim to create a pathway to the Girls Development Centre and local grassroots clubs to provide longer term enagement.
For participnats who are Post 16 our current programme includes exit routes with Exeter City Ladies FC and Exeter College Girls Football Academy providing a range of opportunities for female players to become a part of the football community.
