We are pleased to host a variety of running events throughout the year, from weekly running groups through to the Full Marathon distance.





Exeter Half-Marathon- Feb 2019 ** SOLD OUT**


The Exeter Half Marathon is great! A mainly traffic free, flat route, run along the footpaths and cycle tracks around the River Exe and Exeter Canal. The course provides a fantastic opportunity to see how your spring marathon training programme is going or your first steps into completing the 13.1-mile distance for the first time.

The Granite Way – Sunday, March 24, 2019 - ** SOLD OUT **

The Granite Way run takes you along the Granite Way cycle path through Devon with fantastic views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside. The route is ideal for runners who are training for a spring marathon, offering a 10-mile (one lap) and 20-mile (two lap) race option to suit everyone’s individual needs. 

Start and finish will be at Race Headquarters: Okehampton Youth Hostel, Klondye Road, Okehampton, EX20 1EW.

10 Mile start time: 09.30 am - Minimum age 17 years 

20 Mile start time: 09.00 am - Minimum age 18 years -

The Exeter Live Better Marathon, sponsored by Tozers is a perfect opportunity to complete what could be one of the biggest challenges of a lifetime.

Our course is ideal for those competing for the first time as well as seasoned runners looking for a fast time.

The route heads  towards the River Exe, with the majority of the route being along the footpaths and cycle tracks of the River Exe and Ship Canal. There will be plenty of beautiful locations to admire along the course with some great viewing points for your supporters and spectators to come along and cheer you on.

Be part of our running festival on the 19th May &  join the Exeter Live Better Marathon route for 13.1 miles, completing your half marathon distance over a one lap course,its a great opportunity to chase your PB or for  novice runners looking to complete their first event. The route is along a great flat,almost, traffic free course run mainly on the footpaths and cycle tracks around the River Exe and Exeter Canal.

Start Time: 09.15

Minimum age: 17

Halloween Community Fun Run - Cowick Barton Fields - Oct Half term - Thursday 24th Oct

We are pleased to announce we will be continuing the very succesful community event which had previously been arranged by Clear Property inconjunction with CITY Community Trust in support of Age UK Exeter. 

This years event will include a family fancy dress fun run taking one lap of Cowick Barton fields and the surrounding area and for the 1st time a shorter route for those under school age along part of the route.

Entry will be via our online facility and will open in mid September, so save the date and start planning your fancy dress costumes.

Santa Run- 2019 - City Centre route starting in Princesshay, Exeter

One of our favourite events of the year with hundreds of runners, joggers and walkers from across Exeter and the surrounding area ready to kick off the start of the festive season.

With two distances to choose from, 2.5km Family Fun Run or the 5km race, you can set your own bar, run for fun, run to reach a goal, run competitively, run to be healthy or run to raise awareness of your favourite charity or one of our Charity Partners

Entry is limited to the first 600 participants per race, so sign up today and bring your friends and family along, get dressed up, have fun and what a great opportunity to raise some money for a great cause.

This year we are encouraging our partner schools to take part with reduced entry fee’s. If your school works with us be sure to ask your lead coach for further details.

Santa suits or dresses are compulsory to take part, you can either provide your own or include as part of your entry.



Start on the high street, head through Princesshay and then Southernhay. Head back to the high street and turn right down Bailey Street and make your way up to Northernhay Gardens. Head through at turn right at the bottom to go down Queen Street before making a u-turn and heading back towards the high street. Turn right and follow the high street down before making a u-turn just before you reach North Street and head back up the high street to Princesshay to finish!
