Exeter Live Better Marathon 2019 





From tots to grandparents – a total of 650 people pulled on their Santa suits and took to the streets of Exeter for the annual Santa Run organised by CITY Community Trust. Pete Ferlie, health and wellbeing officer for CITY Community Trust, said: "It was a fantastic event – every year we have more and more people sign up. Exeter City Ladies currently play in the South West Women's Premier Division. The team is sponsored by Eagle One, East Devon Grecians and Exeter City Supporters' Trust. They train at the Cliff Hill training ground on a Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm and welcome new players. City Ladies' home games are played at Cullompton Rangers FC on Sunday's with a 2pm kick-off. Find out more below:


Every month, CITY Community Trust host powerchair training sessions for all ages at Cranbrook Education Campus. For some. It's life changing. For others, it's just "amazing." Powerchair football is a unique sport aimed at people with a high level of impairment to access the game of football. The game is for anyone who uses a powered wheelchair or those who have limited movement in a manual wheelchair. It's fast-paced, dynamic and very enjoyable to watch. Our successful programme in Exeter, Honiton, Axminster, Exmouth, Uffculme,Cullompton,Crediton and Sidmouth is aimed at the over 55's whilst our Cranbrook sessions are open to all ages, male and female . The game is ideal for those who would like a gentle reintroduction to physical activity or who need to improve their baseline fitness. Find out more by watching our short video below:


Exeter CITY Community Trust holiday courses provide children with an opportunity to extend their current sporting activities through a range of fun and interactive sessions during the school holidays, in various locations across Devon. Sessions include fundamental movement work, skill sessions, small sided games and various competitions with an emphasis on fun, in a safe and structured professional environment. Exeter City Community Trust offers a range opportunities for girls to be involved in football either as part of girls only or mixed sessions, including holiday courses and regular weekly sessions, such as Grecian Wildcats. We are also proud to be a part of the Premier League Girls Programme delivered in partnership with The Football Association, which aims to provide opportunities for females aged 11 and over to take part in football in a community setting.
